[Qt-interest] QFile and fsynch(): how does it handle it?

Following Ted Tso's insightful posts on how ext3 and ext4 commit data to the disk[1], I was left wondering 
how does QFile handle that issue. As there is nothing on that subject on QFile's documentation page, can 
anyone tell me if (and how) QFile handles those commits?
