I didn't know that the GetAsyncKeyState() function is to be (or even is) deprecated as I didn't really track microsoft's policies since XP.
It seems that I have to use QApplication's event loop to monitor the key and mouse button press events and directly integrate this 'tool' with the applications I would like to be movie-tutorialized. what a pitty!
