[Qt-interest] Qt4.53 and -Direct3D Compiling HELP!

Recently reloaded my laptop and stupidly used 4.6_TechPreview and after much
effort have been trying to make a Direct3D window rather than OGL,
It seems Nokia have removed any Direct3D support from 4.6... Which plainly
sucks as it was only introduced in 4.5.

Okay so i loaded the latest 4.53 SDK and have just tried configuring for
-direct3D, As i notice the option is still listed in 4.53

"configure -direct3d -platform win32-msvc2008"

As I start the 10minute configure process, I then have a look and it says
"direct3D  = No"

I cannot get the switch to change the option, WHY? I use other options in
it's place like -no-qt3support and this works as expected.

What does one have to do to get this to work!

And is this working for anyone? Can someone (anyone) please confirm that
Trolltech have not changed things for the worse, and it's just a config
option on my PC that is a problem. (I am now on Windows 7 x64 with Direct3D
11 SDK) But I'm fearing that perhaps the 4.6 issues of being removed changed
or removed from 4.53 or busted it somehow...

Thanks for any light that can be shed on this matter, I have spent days on
this and i'm getting rather annoyed... ;)
