A new Qt book:

    "Advanced Qt Programming"

is due to be published in Spring 2010.

The book is aimed at existing C++/Qt programmers and presents ideas and
techniques that are too advanced or specialized (although not
necessarily difficult), for a first book on Qt.

I have tried to make the book as "rich" as possible, showing as much Qt
functionality as I could (provided it made sense in the context of use),
but in view of Qt's massive size I've had to be selective with topics so
the book doesn't cover everything. Nonetheless, even the most
experienced Qt programmer should discover aspects of Qt they weren't
aware of, discover new techniques, and be inspired with new ideas!

The book's examples all work with Qt 4.6, and most also work with Qt 4.5
(except of course, for those that use Qt 4.6-specific features)---all
work on Linux, Mac OS X, and Windows of course. The examples will be
published under the GPL once the book is available in U.S. bookstores.

An incomplete first draft is available as a Safari Rough Cut:
http://my.safaribooksonline.com/9780321701688
This will be updated with corrections & new chapters periodically right
up to publication. You can give feedback via the Safari site or email me
directly.

The book's web page has a provisional (but incomplete) table of
contents:
