[Qt-interest] How to play a video (DAT format) file using QT classes

 Hi Friends,

I am working on QT-4.2 and I want to know how to play a video in an
application, which is purely developed in using QT on Linux platform.

Can any one please suggest me the methodology for this?

I want to play an ordinary video file, which has extension DAT.

I have gone through QMovie, however I cannot get the way.

Please suggest any procedure for it or any reference for it.
