[Qt-interest] Font recognition problem

Dear all,

I am observing very strange phenomenos with font recognition in Qt
Embedded 4.5.0.

The directory <QT>/lib/fonts is located on a separate ext2 partition in
flash.
By using the example from the QFontDatabase help section (see [1]) I am
listing all recognized fonts after my application has started. However it
seems like that the fonts are only recognized for the first time.
Subsequent application run's result in no fonts being recognized.

And now it comes. If I create an empty "fontdir" - File in <QT>/lib/fonts
and everytime before starting the application I do a "touch fontdir"
everything works fine. If I omit the "touch", the font files are not being
recognized during the second startup of the application.

I have no idea what causes the problem but it is reproduceable.

Mit freundlichen Grüßen / Best regards

Markus Franke
