I'm not a bean-counter, just a developer anxious to port his Qt program to
the iPad/iPhone/Android, etc. We're currently focusing on the iPad due to
the large pixel footprint, CPU speed, and wider audience <please, no
smartphone/tablet flame wars>. My company would be willing to pay Nokia
for iPad/Qt licenses since it would still be much less costly than
redeveloping our app from scratch with Cocoa Touch (the native iPad
framework). I'm sure there are other Qt developers in the same boat.
Regarding the cost of porting Qt to the iPad-- Of course there will be
some upfront cost, but since Qt is already available for Cocoa the effort
to port to Cocoa Touch will be much less than starting from scratch with a
new device/OS. Please consider it.

John
