It turns out I should have RTFMed more:

It turns out Qt support this quite easily. All I had to do was setting:
QMAKE_MACOSX_DEPLOYMENT_TARGET = 10.4
in the project file :P I don't have a 10.4 installation available, but
it seems it works OK on 10.5 now.
