Hello Lucas,
I've started learning C++ with Qt and one day as I had to use plain C++
I realized the value of Qt.
I would suggest not to forget learning standard C++ - containers,
streams, templates, etc. It would help you to "demystify" some
Qt-mechanisms. If you don't have a good book yet, here is one for free:
http://www.mindview.net/Books/TICPP/ThinkingInCPP2e.html
However, C++ requires 3 years of consequent learning to master it, so be
patient. After 8 years of using C++ I still can't understand some code
instantly (e.g. inside boost).
Concerning Qt-learning path, I'made my experience, that no of Qt books
is as good as online documentation and tutorials.
Good luck!
