[Qt-interest] Help with compiling project in qt

Greetings all,
 
I just installed QT 4.6 and i am trying to compile the examples.
 
If i create my own qt project that all compiles fine and i can go and
code happily.
 
But if i try and compile the examples i get this:
 
c:/qt/2010.01/mingw/bin/../lib/gcc/mingw32/4.4.0/../../../libmingw32.a(m
ain.o):main.c::-1: error: undefined reference to `WinMain at 16'
 
:-1: error: collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
 
Can someone please help?
 
I found a post that i need to edit my PATH variable and put all QT\bin
and QT\mingw\bin in the PATH before any variable without spaces. I did
that but no luck
