[Qt-interest] Getting phonon supported in qt (and qt-jambi) on a win32-msvc setup

I'm working on setting up a virtual build environment for QtJambi 4.6
community release on Windows (Windows XP service pack 2).

I have installed the Microsoft DirectX package on a clean Windows Service
pack2 machine (
http://www.microsoft.com/games/en-US/aboutGFW/pages/directx.aspx) to get
multimedia support, but still I see that I do not get Phonon support when
running configure.exe.

Googling a bit, I find this documentation:

which points me to this page:

Should I just go along installing this package as well? I'm really not the
best expert around on Windows, so I'm just asking you to be sure I'm not
doing anything irreversible wrong here.
