You are going wrong in the assumption that mailing lists are here for debugging your code!

Unless you have a *concrete* question related to Qt you are very likely to simply being ignored. That's not rude from our side. That's simply a matter of asking "smart questions" (google that term up if it is not known to you - believe it or not, but there is even a "tutorial" ;).
