[Qt-interest] Close button on tabs of MDI windows (QMdiArea, QMdiSubWindow) - workaround ?

Hi all !

does anyone have a workaround of adding a close button to all the tabs 
of QMdiSubWindows until a patch like the one from Sandro Cavazzoni  
(s.group qt-solutions  -> ss.cavazzoni at adss.it - thanks Sandro !!) is 
compiled into qt ?
- I do not want to recompile qt4 !
