No namespaces in the real application and yes I have included the macro, 
and my MOC'd output appears to be correct as well.

I've just built a QMainWindow derived tester, and it works! So I now 
know that the cause of the error is definitely on the seat.

I just need to find out where on earth I'm going wrong, so bye bye weekend!
