[Qt-interest] transparancy with icons and gradients with a 16bit framebuffer

Hi,

I'm using a 16bit framebuffer (5-6-5) on an embedded linux device.
It gets funny coloring on the icons of the toolbar and several widgets.
I use the QPlastique style, but I have the same result in the
QCleanlooksStyle.

For instance, the background of QDropDown should be a gradient from
white to light grey, but is a gradient from green to purple. Same for
buttons, sliderbar, ...

Icons of a toolbar do not draw as they should. Colors are also mixed up
(also looking green/purple). These icons are PNGs coded RGBA. When I
code them in RGB, they appear just fine. When the RGBA coded PNG is
painted with a QImage outside of the toolbar, it is also showing up ok.

Has anybody an idea what I should do to draw the icons correctly?

Kind regards,
