[Qt-interest] CookieJar and session cookies in demo browser

Hello,

I was just going through the cookiejar.cpp file in demo browser and found that whenever cookies are saved to the cookies.ini file, all the session cookies are discarded.

What could be the reason? Is it for some security reason?

Also what would be the best way if I have to maintain session cookies across instances of application?  

I have seen in some of the browsers, whenever a download is going on, even if we close the main browser window, the download is going on still in the download window.
