Usually to ask a question like "What are the disadvantages of X" in a group which is totally dedicated to "X", especially because they do not want to use "Y" or try to avoid "Z", will probably result in very biased answers ;)

For example one of the biggest disadvantages of Qt is that its spelling is totally complicated! Some people spell it wrongly "QT", best in an Apple forum, where it is then confused with something else.

Another disadvantage is its huge and excellent documentation, which requires you to actually *read* and *understand*. So unlike with any other toolkit presented to you by your marketing department/managers you have to have some programming skills, and can't simply say "Plop!" and "Here you go, shiny sexy UI with animated blinking buttons, autowired with The Cloud(tm), Everything-As-A-Service and Web 2.0 conformant(beta)" (even though all these points are possible with Qt).
