[Qt-interest] QString::toStdString() problem

Hello, i have a QString variable which is set with a string like "C:\\folder\\xyz.jpg" , but string s = myQstring.toStdString(); produces a completely different output than the original string.The output is something like "¶È…Éu‹Uü‹Pè©ıÿƒÄ‹å]ÃÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌU‹ìQ‰Mü‹EP‹Müè¥ıÿ‹Eü‹å]Â"
What do you think about the problem?
My config details are:QT 4.6.0VS 2008QT VS Integrator 1.4.3
