I would suggest to drop the Phonon and use gstreamer with QGLWidget. You
can take a look at qglwtextureshare example in gstreamer's
gst-plugins-gl module which illustrates how to implement texture sharing
between Qt and gstreamer. It works on Windows and Linux, however I did
not heared about someone tested it on Mac.
