[Qt-interest] compilation problem

Hi,
I have this error when I'm trying to compile a simple hello world program
g++ -Wl,-O1 -o hello main.o    -L/usr/lib -lQtGui -lQtCore -lpthread
/usr/bin/ld: cannot find -lQtGui
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
make: *** [hello] Erreur 1

the variable LD_LIBRARY_PATH is ok but I don't understand why it can't find the lib.
