[Qt-interest] QT: Task Tracker: why opened tickets are silently closed with "Expired" status?

Thiago:

That's fine, but that's where a closing status such as
"No plans to implement" (for a feature request) or "No
plans to correct" (for a bug) would be useful. That would
at least let the submitter know what the final disposition
  of their report was.

All tasks in the old task tracker are closed. Tasks that were open at the time
of the migration to the new bugreports.qt.nokia.com got recreated in the new
system, then closed in the old one (called T4).

The particular task above got migrated to:
http://bugreports.qt.nokia.com/browse/QTBUG-1016

I did close it in December, because we didn't know anymore if it was relevant.
Someone then in June reminded us of why it's important, so it got reopened.

Now, yes, we will close old tasks that have low-priority. We will never have
the time to fix all tasks and implement all valid suggestions, so we
prioritise.
