If you are a small company LGPL worries are the smallest of your worries.

And smallest of your legal worries too.

Consider what would happen if you were found to be in breach of the
licensing rules?

All you had to do was to comply with them at that would solve it for you.

What are you afraid of, having to release your source code?

Consider under what circumstances and interpretation that could happen,
the bottom line is that LGPL was created to be able to use Free libraries
with proprietary ie closed source applications.

Patents are a much bigger IP threat, but as long as you are
small no one is going to put in the $100k/month to sue you when
you have no money.
