[Qt-interest] The future of QtXmlPatterns

There was a blog once on Qt Labs mentioning that QDomDocument is likely to be discontinued in Qt 5.x and QXmlPatterns is the way to go now. Unfortunatelly the closest article I found related to QDomDocument/QXmlPatterns is

But it seems that QXmlPatterns really receives more love nowadays, so it is very likely to be continued in at least Qt 5.x ;)
