[Qt-interest] Qt on 64-bit Windows

Hello all,

A couple of (hopefully) quick questions.

1) Does anyone know if it is likely Qt will support 64-bit MinGW (soon)? I 
saw a discussion that it needed some patches a while back to work, does 
anyone know if all those patches have been applied back upstream?

2) Can anyone comment on any speed differences (in the compiled code) from 
using MSVC and MinGW (preferably with 64-bit, but info about 32-bit would 
be helpful too)?
