FYI, I had great results using Qt with Zeroconf and ACE for a zero-configuration publisher/subscribe setup. System runs on a military radar data acquisition and signal processing system with excellent performance and usability. The GUIs adapt dynamically to the presence of publishers on the network, which the radar operators absolutely love.

Not that I wouldn't mind seeing Qt make this more integrated...
