Subject: RE: [QtS60-feedback] Qt for symbian works fine in Windows7
I am using windows 7 64 bit for Qt for symbian development.
The symbian SDK has some problems due to UAC and the read-only program files
directory, but these can be worked around.
The main issue is the 'devices' command for switching between SDKs for
command line compilation does not work.
Compiling in the carbide IDE does work.
The command line issue can be worked around by using the EPOCROOT
environment variable and setting your PATH to point at the correct SDK
instead of using the devices command.
Changing permissions on c:\program files(x86)\common
files\symbian\devices.xml to make it writable may also work
