[Qt-interest] "QT Assistant" search is not working ( In Linux )

I am using QT assistant as my application help browser and facing weird
problem in Linux. Whenever I open "assistant" at the right bottom
"Updating search index" indicator is going forever. If I am navigating
to search tab, and searching some words, I am getting following error.

Your search did not match any documents.
The reason for this might be that the documentation is still being
indexed.

Please let me know if anyone faced this issue and how to solve this
issue.   Also same issue exists  in my  open QT help ( version QT 4.5X )
