Hi..

I tried it now.. by default the focus will be set to the view..

U need to set the focus to ur mainwindow ..

this->setFocus();

setCentralWidget(view);

just add this code and try… it may work..it worked for me..

 scene=new QGraphicsScene(this);
 scene->setSceneRect(-160,-160,320,320);

 view =new QGraphicsView(this);
 view->setRenderHint(QPainter::Antialiasing, true);
 view->setFrameStyle(QFrame::NoFrame);
 view->setScene(scene);
 setCentralWidget(view);

 QGraphicsItemGroup *group=new QGraphicsItemGroup(NULL);
 group->setPos(-80,-80);
 scene->addItem(group);

I hv used a simple push button fr testing..

A button widget is set as centrel widget n testing..

Not tried wit graphicswidget… ur sample app has graphicswidget?

I think it could be something related to the QGraphicsView used in the
sample code. Your sample app could  be a simpy QMainWindow or QWidget
application. I have always been using the latest Qt 4.6.2 release.

I tried the sample app its runnig well in N97 its workin ..

Hey the app which u hv sent s nt working.. but the sample app which I hv
created is working well..

You update to Qt 4.6.2 then see it may work…

I have tried in on both N97 and N97-mini phones, it does not work at all. On
S60 3rd Edition phones like N95, it works beautifully!

Hi Ramesh,

Thanks for your trial. The same code works well on S60 3rd edition devices
without any problems. However, the problem is found on Nokia 5th edition
touch devices.

I tried ur key event code in a sample application.. its working fine..

I tried in two separate examples its working.. good..

But I tried the same in ur project its not working… ur key event code is
fine I guess..

There must be some other problem.. check it..

Hi,

Attached please find a sample code for animation. I have tried the example
code on  both 5th edtion and N97 SDK. I am trying to set a break points at
"keyPressEvent" code: The execution never stops in the function call when I
press the arrow keys (left, right, up and down). It responses to my OK key
and other keys in the emulator and on real phones.  Can someone verify this?
I think it is possible a bug in the Qt software.
