I de-installed, removed all Nokia and Trolltech items from the registry and
installed again.
Now the help system works again.
Thanks for your assistance.

Hi Erik
Qt Assistant leaves a copy of the help files in your home directory. In the
past I have found this to be a problem when updating if the cached files are
updated without changing their names. Trolltech have made some improvements
to this but I'm not sure its 100% fixed.
Try searching for *.qhc and *.qch files in:
C:\Documents and Settings\Your Name
Probably they're somewhere in
C:\Documents and Settings\Your Name\Application Data
Perhaps in:
C:\Documents and Settings\Your Name\Local Settings\Application
Data\Trolltech\Assistant
Try deleting the whole folder then relaunch Qt creator
Ross.

Subject: [Qt-interest] help system
After removing all previous Qt installation directories the help in Qt
creator does not work anymore.
Re-installing does not help. The settings under Tools/Options/Help look ok.
I use Qt 4.6.2 and Qt Creator 1.3.1 on Windows XP.
A shadow system on another computer works fine with the same software and
settings.
What I do to activate help again?
