Ok.

Does the command "arm-none-linux-gnueabi-g++" run when executed on a
terminal? If it does, then there's no issue with the PATH env var.

I guess somehow the shell invoked by "make" is not getting this env properly.

Is this PATH set for all your sessions (eg it's in your bashrc) or are
your setting it each time when you open a terminal?

run make in the same terminal where you set your PATH and see.
