[Qt-interest] WA_NoSystemBackground and GraphicsView

Hi, Im interested, does it worth it setting WA_NoSystemBackground on both QGraphicsView and its viewport()?
(Considering It draws all it pixels and does not need bg repaint)

Also the docs say "This flag is set or cleared by the widget's author." 
Does it mean I have to subclass a QWidget, set this flag in the ctor and use this widget as viewport?
