Uhm... yes, you are right, in the "header navigation" (top line) it's there, also in http://doc.trolltech.com/4.6/index.html. It was just dropped (in 4.6 docs) from the "API Reference" chapter (on the main index page), and since this was always the place where I clicked on that link I thought it had gone ;)

Yes, especially when I started learning Qt this was a big help to me! When I start learning a new API it is always nice if you are first confronted with the "most important" classes.

I totally agree. But then again, the Qt docs have very good "topic overviews" (such as http://doc.trolltech.com/4.6/paintsystem.html or http://doc.trolltech.com/4.6/network-programming.html), not to forget the "Get you started in 5 minutes" examples such as http://doc.trolltech.com/4.6/widgets-tutorial.html which quickly introduce you to the classes specific to a given topic or which demonstrate the use of the "core classes", such as QApplication, QWidget etc.
