[Qt-interest] Scrolling optimization techniques?

Guys,

I have a custom tableview with horizontal/vertical scrollbar off. For
scrolling, i have implemented a paging mechanism(diving rows pixelwise into
pages). Using up/down buttons, user can scroll up/down. However, there is
some choppiness in the scrolling which doesnt look professional at all. Does
someone know ways to optimize scrolling performance?
Any pointers/response is appreciated.
