Sorry, that sentence totally does not make any sense to me? Are you looking for an alternative for *what* exactly? When you talk about "storing an image", in "image processing" that usually means "saving an image", as in:

  QImage::save(...);

Or when you say "store", do you actually mean "manipulate"? So are you looking for an alternative way to *manipulate* an image, an alternative to the code that you have posted?


Try re-phrasing your question.
