I didn't send anyone the patch because i suppose the trolls are working on a 
patch and testing it more thoroughly than i have done but anyway i have attached 
the patch to the qt bugreport here 
http://bugreports.qt.nokia.com/browse/QTBUG-14206 , i have not tried qt 
gitorious still, sorry.
