[Qt-interest] Trapping

Hi,
Suppose I have set my DISPLAY on some machine not in network, say "aaa", my
application gets hanged and gives following error:

_X11TransSocketINETConnect() can't get address for aaa:6000: Temporary
failure in name resolution
E233: cannot open display_X11TransSocketINETConnect() can't get address for
olive:6000: Temporary failure in name resolution

How can I catch this error so that system exits gracefully instead of
hanging/crashing....
