Mandriva Cooker has a very recent Qt:
$ rpm -qf /usr/lib/libQtCore.so.4
libqtcore4-4.7.1-1mdv2011.0
I've been using Mandriva for 5 years now and hardly any regrets.
Then again, I don't think I've ever used the system Qt provided by the
distribution in the past 8 years. For all I know, it could be completely
broken...
