Oh c'mon, you can't be serious here, can you? How often do you check the FAQ? Why not set a bookmark? And why not set it directly to

  http://doc.trolltech.com/latest/

(you /are/ aware of that link, are you? ;)

And with your powers of your keyboard it should be a matter of 3 seconds to correct the wrong URL - should you accidentally have clicked on it in the Google search results - from e.g. 3.3 to 4.7

Doesn't a burned child learn quick? - I usually got burned only once ;) Besides, what's the big deal to accidentally post an outdated link here on the mailing list, everyone is human here and has auto-correction capabilities built-in their brains, so when the discussion is about a feature of e.g. QString in 4.x and you accidentally post a http://doc.trolltech.com/3.3/qstring.html link, so what? (Hint hint: search for "QString 4.7" or "Qt FAQ 4.7" etc. - especially when you work for a company with the name "research" in its name you should know how to use google ;)

I think that is way less work than to have everyone else who *really* wants to access the 3.3 docs to click "Yesss, damn it, I *really* want to see those 3.3 pages!"

Cheers, Oliver
