[Qt-interest] GIF and JPG failing under Windows 7

I noticed that toolbar icons that were GIF files disappeared when I ran my 
application under Windows 7 (64-bit).  Testing the imageviewer example, I 
found that it can load PNG files, but not GIF or JPG.  There's no problem 
under XP.  I don't have a 32-bit Windows 7 install for testing.  MinGW and 
VC++ versions behave the same way.
