It’s more than that. Qt can't use half the fonts available on the mac for instance. Unless you're creating a trivial application, you have to do a lot of custom fine-tuning to make the source lists and system buttons which are common to Mac applications. The contextual menus don’t look the same until very, very recently, the lists and tree views used the wrong fonts and indentations that made them look like crap on OSX.

I personally am not too bothered by most of these limitations because I believe less is more. Some Mac applications (for example, the Cornerstone SVN client that I use daily) seem rather over-designed. And having programmed in Cocoa before, I am aware of the vast library of different controls and widgets available. Using Qt with it's simple selection of widgets is somewhat liberating :)
