[Qt-interest] About the shortcut for global.

hello everyone:
I have a problem about the application's shortcut.

I want to setting some shortcut like "Ctrl+A" to do something,like run some
script or to stop the audio.

But the key point is when the application is not in active,lost the focus or
it is minimize, how the application can receive the key event?

In WinXP,I can use the hook,but how in the Linux?
