[Qt-interest] Compiling Qt with VC++ 2010 Express

I've heard it's not possible due to changes in the way MSVC optimizes inline code (which Qt uses a lot of). Qt's is not the only codebase that has been broken. You'll have to go back to 2008.

Hello

I was trying to compile an application with my already compiled Qt 4.5.1 (already built with VC++ 2008 Express) but the current VC++ 2010 Express compiler failed because some "objects" were compiled with a different compiler version :-/

So, I want to build the latest version using VC++ 2010 Express but the package says "VC 2008"... Searching on google I found that some users have compiled with 2010 using the same procedure that 2008, but there is no "Directory" option to add the executable, include, lib, etc. directories to VC++, in the 2010 version it should be added per project and not global...

Does it really compile under version 2010? and if so, is there a documented (experimental?) procedure to build Qt with this new version?
