[Qt-interest] How to do dynamic layouts

I have some requirements to allow display widgets to be laid out in a grid
fashion and to  to be move around.  The sizes of the widget need not be the
same,  and the widgets need to be movable and expandable (contractable to)
with mouse events.  I was wondering if anyone has done this before and can
offer advise on what to do or what not to do.  Should I use a traditional
grid layout or should use a QGraphicsView approach.

Are there any third party Widgets that offer this ?
