Gee, I'm glad that you suggested that.  As someone who uses Qt to
develop software, that simply never occurred to me.

Sarcasm aside, I compared the Qt/Motif Extension source code for 3.3.4
to 4.7.0 and the differences are many and not obvious.  My hope was that
other Qt/Motif users already stumbled upon this problem and already had
it solved.
