[Qt-interest] Which phones are supported by Qt?

All I can say to that is that the Nokia "phones"
people apparently have a different idea about this
than the Nokia Qt people. Ask a Nokia Executive VP
running the phones business whether or not he'll
support a third-party Qt app on a D-pad phone with
64 MB of RAM and essentially zero free C: drive
space and see what answer you get...

This is one of the reasons why it is the announced
policy of Nokia that they *WILL NOT* be back-porting
Symbian^4 (with its entirely-Qt-based UI) back to
even such recent phones as the N97 or even the N8.

Can you get a Qt app to work on S60 3.1? Perhaps
yes, perhaps not, depending on RAM and ROM. Will
you like what you get when your work is done?
  That is a different story.

Also on all S60 3.1, 3.2 and 5.0 devices. That's about 100-120 million devices
out in the market.

Qt also supports Windows CE 5 and 6, Windows Mobile 6. I have no idea for
figures for those.

None of the devices above come with Qt preinstalled. You'll have to either
deploy Qt to the device or bundle it with your application. For Symbian
devices, the Nokia Smart Installer will help you do that (it's only about 20kB
more and it downloads and installs Qt if it's not already on the device).

Symbian^3, Maemo 5 and MeeGo come with Qt pre-installed.
