[Qt-interest] QDockWidget refuses to Dock at bottom of QMainWindow

I have a pretty standard QMainWindow app that uses a few QDockWidgets. They
are initially set at the right side of the QMainWindow in a nested fashion.
When the user wants to move one of the QDocks to the bottom of the
QMainWindow the QDockWidget refuses to dock at the bottom. It will float
just fine but just will not dock. It will dock on either the left or right
sides but not the top or bottom. I have set all the properties that should
allow it to dock but nothing I do seems to allow it to dock. Any help would
be greatly appreciated.
  This is on Qt 4.7.2 on OS X 10.6.7 where Qt was self compiled with x86_64
and i386 as Cocoa frameworks. The same behavior exists on the windows builds
also using Qt 4.7.1 x64 with VS 2008.
