Ah, splitting hairs. The fact that they mentioned it in the title implies that the intent was different from the question asked.
Either way, they are not in bad shape. Either Qt is embedded via ActiveX, Or they do it in Webkit.

He didn't write "application that runs in a browser"
He wrote "browser applications", which I honestly read as "writing an
application that is a browser". Yes, you can do that with Qt and QML, using
QWebView and the QML webview element.
