Hi Matti,

I, and I am sure others here, are wondering what the feature completeness is, as well as parity against PyQt. I've been both an open and commercial licensee of PyQt, so I am looking for parity before I switch. I don't expect source compatibility, but I so expect equal feature completeness and equal coverage.

So, what is the state of PySide for those of us following it from afar?

Hi Jason,

The only major thing missing from PySide at the moment is Python 3 support. That has top priority in the core dev team's backlog and should be finished in 2-3 months.

As for any other comparisons, I feel a bit too biased to say much, but you might want to use this discussion at Stack Overflow as a reference:

Cheers,

ma.
