QML is the "new Coke" way of making "sexy, modern" UIs.

Don't worry about it as you've already selected the old (but still fine) Widget Way.

That is perfectly possible with QML though, so if that is really what is
stopping you, you should revisit it sometime...

I guess I don't understand what QML is? Is it something I can use in conjunction with my existing c++ Qt project and my .ui file?
