[Qt-interest] Many have not aware about this letter, Its for all who relies on Nokia

I think this is off-topic.

But I don't really care anymore. I myself sent an off-topic message to MeeGo
recently. I watch that list list with great interest. I'm rather appalled how
far behind MeeGo (and some parts of QtMobility) are. But there are plenty who
are giving up on Nokia/MeeGo. (Note that Qt/Mobility people have an excuse, they
are the true mobile effort having started with the Nokia acquisition, but
Nokia's problems started long before that. Actually if anything, acquiring
TrollTech was the smartest thing they could have done.)

What I do expect (without any inside knowledge) is him to announce a move to
Android for Nokia, at least in the short term. Qt will be made to support
Android via the NDK, and eventually move to MeeGo. In the meantime developers
can use Qt to develop Android/MeeGo apps which will give MeeGo phones (and lets
not forget other devices) apps from the get-go, allowing the nascent platform to
"hit the ground running" when it is eventually released.

I expect Elop to double down (or up) on the software engineering effort, using
Android if he feels he has to as a short-term bridge.

I am also ecstatic that he realizes the situation as it is. There's ton's of
opportunity here. Just for the love of <diety>, don't start making WP7 phones!
